New: VACUETTE® Holder for Blood Culture Bottles
Greiner Bio-One is launching the new VACUETTE® holder for blood culture bottles.By using this product, it is possible to be able to fill bottles as well as evacuated blood collection tubes one after another with one holder. Furthermore blood culture bottles from various manufacturers (BioMerieux and BD) can be used, since the holder is suitable for BacTec bottles (BD) and BacT/ALERT (BioMerieux).
In order to meet all requirements the new holder is available either in the non-sterile bulk-packed version, or in a practical pre-assembled (safety) blood collection set.
Reliable protection from needlestick injuries is provided when using the pre-assembled version with the Safety Blood Collection Set. With the easy-to-activate protective cap of the winged needle, the risk of a needlestick injury is reduced to an absolute minimum.
